Why are so many kids getting coal in their stockings this year? Why does Santa want a new suit? These questions are answered in "Magical Mrs. Claus," a new musical adapted for the Bellevue Youth Theatre by local playwright Jeff Farga.
"Magical Mrs. Claus" runs Thursday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Youth Theatre, 16661 Northup Way. The show will be performed by a cast of 44 that includes young people, older adults and people with disabilities.
The show is part of Bellevue Youth Theatre's 20th anniversary season and is suitable for the whole family. Tickets are $10 per reserved seat. It performs Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., and at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For tickets or more information, call 425-452-7155 or e-mail BYT@bellevuewa.gov.
