Are you interested in amending Bellevue's Comprehensive Plan?  The city begins accepting applications for plan amendments on Wednesday, Dec. 1.  The application period for 2011 amendments will run through 5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 31. 

The Comprehensive Plan guides the nature and intensity of development in Bellevue. An amendment to the plan is a mechanism by which the city may periodically modify its land use, development or growth policies. Plan amendments are often needed prior to considering zoning changes. Plan amendments are legislative acts by the City Council with broad public participation and discussion.

This is the only opportunity to apply for amendments for consideration in 2011. Application materials can be found at Service First at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE, or online.
