FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, August 30, 2010

Bellevue libraries stay open

Although the Seattle Public Library is closed this week due to cuts in the city's budget, the King County Library System is open as usual Aug. 30 through Sept. 5.

If you're eager to get answers to your questions or just to find a book, magazine or music, the Bellevue Regional Library downtown and the Newport Way Library (4055 Factoria Mall SE) are available. (The Lake Hills Library, which will move to a new building on Sept. 11, will be closed this Wednesday, and will only be open for limited holds the rest of the week.)

Both the Seattle and King County library systems will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 6.
