Utilities tax rebate offered |
|
The City of Bellevue is offering a tax rebate for low-income residents who pay utilities and live within city limits. To qualify, total household income in 2006 must be $24,698 or less for a single person; $28,358 or less for married/co-tenant. The deadline for applications is Nov. 30. Those who qualify will receive a rebate of up to $94 the third week in December, right before the holidays. The rebate is for local taxes paid on private utilities (gas, electric, telephone, garbage) and Bellevue’s utilities (water, wastewater and drainage). Call the Utilities Department at 425-452-5285 for an application or for more information.
