Residents will get an opportunity to learn more and comment about the State Route 520 Bridge replacement project at an open house Tuesday, June 26, 4 to 7 p.m. at Bellevue High School, 10416 SE Wolverine Way. The state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is hosting the event.
The WSDOT project website offers a wealth of details about the project, which calls for replacement of the aging, four-lane bridge across Lake Washington with a six-lane span that would include lanes for high-occupancy vehicles and bicycles. A flyer about the open house tells you how you can "enjoy some ice cream and get the latest scoop on the project."

For comments and questions about the project, to schedule a community briefing or to be added to the mail/e-mail list, please fill out the WSDOT contact form. The SR 520 Project hotline (206-781-3922) offers a recording of the latest project information. To contact the WSDOT's SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Project Office by phone, call 206-770-3500.
