FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, December 14, 2016

More art and culture downtown?

What types of art and cultural experiences do you hope to see downtown? The Grand Connection art and culture survey is open for your input.

The Grand Connection will be a corridor designed for people walking or biking downtown. Stretching from Meydenbauer Bay Park to the Eastside Rail Corridor in Wilburton, it will connect communities and places such as Old Bellevue, Downtown Park, the grand shopping street of Bellevue Way and the Transit Center. The city began the visioning process in the spring.

Art will be an important element of the Grand Connection, activating public space through installations, interaction and performance-based art.
