Help spread the news about the City’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative. Volunteer will be asked to communicate initiatives and achievements of the City’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative (ESI). ESI works on a wide range of sustainability projects and programs with the business community, city departments, and residents of Bellevue.
Volunteer will play a role in communicating via online websites and social media, as well as written newsletters and emails, with a wide variety of constituents. The volunteer’s target audience will be Bellevue residents, informing the community of latest ESI news, engagement opportunities, and other discussions.
Solid writing and communication skills.
Ability to absorb information quickly and relate it to the public in appealing sound bites.
Ability to learn and use multiple different communication outlets, including newsletters, websites, Facebook, Twitter, and more.
Interest and experience in sustainability topics.
