Take Back Drugs Day Saturday

The Bellevue Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the nationwide prescription drug "Take-Back" initiative Saturday. Officers at three locations will accept residents' expired, unused and unwanted medications, including prescription drugs.

On Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., police will collect controlled, non-controlled and over-the-counter medications. No identification will be required or requested. Uniformed officers will be at the following locations:

  • City Hall Police Lobby, 450 110th Ave. NE;
  • Crossroads Community Police Station, 1336 156th Ave. NE (next to Chipotle); and
  • Factoria Community Police Station, 3915 Factoria Boulevard SE (near Nordstrom Rack).

Individuals are encouraged to remove identifying information from prescription labels. other collection sites 

Due to their hazardous nature, intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes and medical waste will not be accepted.
